that is such an awesome solution! this last week i repurposed an old cabinet door into a kitchen board. spray painted it creamy white on the edges and then the middle section spray painted it into a chalk board. buying a sticker would have been much easier. . .
I've got a chalkboard in my kitchen and I love it! I am drawn to the huge chalkboard walls though but don't quite have a wall in my home where it would work. The stickers are brilliant!
I am not a huge fan of chalkboard walls. When I first saw them, I thought, how awesome! But now I think they tend to make a room look a bit dirty/messy.
I, too, love the whimsy! And these are some great images you found. You know, though, you can pick up chalk board paint in a variety of colors---so you can have a pink, dusty wall OR a robin's egg blue, dusty wall, etc... :)
I love them too! I just put one up in my home office-I'll post a picture when the room is finished.

ReplyDeleteCompletely agree! I have two in my house! One similar to the white door chalkboard.

ReplyDeleteI love them too. Particularly when the chalkboard is framed with some molding. It looks like a bistro.

ReplyDeleteI'm with you, i'm not sure if I could ever live with the wall once it is used.
ReplyDeleteI have one in our entryway and I love it - it is great for leaving little inspirational quotes that we can see as we are coming and going.
