frames & chandeliers

This weekend we're finally going to get some frames on the walls and chandeliers hung! It feels good to be making some progress on the pretty stuff now that all the painting and organizing is done. Next week I'll have my good camera back (it broke back in June) so I'll have some goodies for you ASAP!

Love these frame & mirror arrangements
(And I'm so jealous of that Turkish Kilim...looks like the Bonpoint rugs!)

I'm going for crystal chandeliers in the dining room & foyer- since I'm going for a more formal, traditional look. So excited about the vintage regency chandelier I got a few days ago.

 Happy weekend!

  7. I can't wait for a peek at your new place! I know it will be amazing! I'm excited to see a more traditional classic style! I've loved your more modern look in the past! So it will be fun to see something different!

I'm especially excited because you mentioned that you all are on a student budget! I'm not a student any more but, with 3 young kids and all their needs my husband I feel like we are budget wise! It will be inspiring to see what you come up with on a budget! I'm thrilled to see your work! I often believe since funds are limited I can't do anything! I know you'll prove me wrong! Can't wait to see how your organized a small place! Can't wait to see your daughter's big girl room! I love the book case you ordered! It's so cute!

  8. That first image is a shot I styled that ended up on the cover of my book Decorate (the UK version). It's also the home of Rita Konig and can be found in the US version of Decorate by Chronicle Books, too.
