Missoni Madness

Back to report...that Target was out of almost everything with the exception of some frames, a vase, and some little girls stuff (ps. the toddler sizes are really wide). Such a bummer since I really just wanted those little ballet flats for me & Olivia. I'll have to go back in a few days...but I did manage to snatch a few things.

Hope the rest of you camped out and scored some goodies!

  1. Same with me- no such luck going an hour after the store opened! Check out the sales already flying around ebay...3 and 4x the price!

  2. Missoni madness is right! I just got back from my Target and apparently people were lined up at 7am...so i was a little late at 8:30. The shelves were bare. When I left women were in the parking lot loading missoni bikes and luggage in their cars. Makes me wonder if they are re-selling on ebay after reading your comment from Wanderings... I came home with a similar stash as your. Two pair of knit gloves and a pair of rain boots for my 16 year old.

  3. Arrived 8:05 at Manhattan. All women's clothes sold out. And website down?! Nuts.

  4. Yeah, ours was crazy picked over too. I almost got the little sweater for E, but she's so picky about choosing her own sweaters at this point, I didn't. Awesome rain boots, though!

  5. Too bad you aren't in Utah. I went to the Layton store at 9:00 and there was still at least 75% of their stock left. I basically got everything I went for. They had all of their ballet flats left for kids. If you want me to snag them for you and ship them to you I would be happy to. Just let me know :)

  6. A Tweet from KyleRichards18 (RHOBH): overheard at Target "Who wants to trade these Missoni forks for a Missoni ballet flat size 8??!!" #missonimadness #target

  7. My store had nothing...sold out....not a towel. The salesgirl said, a mob of women working together, ran through the store and took everything....beware of internet sales...the salesgirl said, not to worry...more stock will come in daily...people are so silly.

  9. Ohhh I know! SO bummed. I live in a town where I didn't think anyone even knew Missoni so i thought it would be no biggie for me to saunter in there at 1pm. I honestly thought they had not even put the stuff on the shelves yet! lol. People are for sure re-selling on ebay. That fabulous knit throw I have been drooling over for weeks-- going for over $200 on ebay. INSANITY! I mean, it's missoni...but its for target. I'll opt for an hermes throw at this point! lol. Hoping to swing by in the next few days to find shelves freshly stocked. ;) I hope you find the same.

  10. I went to Target at 1:30 and found lots of stuff. People here must not know what Missoni is ;) However I was seriously disappointed in the quality. I know it is Target, but still.... tried on the ballet flats and they felt like they'd break after 5 wears. Tried them on my daughter and they were super uncomfortable looking and provided no support for her. Even the dress I picked up felt thin and weak. Overall I wasn't too impressed!

  11. I stopped by after work and they still had a few things left. The little girls stuff was by far the cutest of the remnants. I tried on the flats, and like Laura said, they seemed like pure crap. The kids ones were much cuter than the adult though, so maybe keep an eye out for those.
