I've been working here and there on Olivia's room so I'm happy to have a few shots of the progress since the rest of my house is pretty much on hold with all the fabric madness. As I was organizing my collection of samples when we moved in to our place, I came across this Osborne & Little fabric sample that I've had for years. I had so many different pieces from Olivia's old room but wanted to add in aqua and change the wall color...it was the perfect way to tie it all together. Like my office wallpaper, it's a Nina Campbell design- Boeheme, Painted Lady is the pattern.
I have been really happy with her paint color- a very soft Blush called Gentle Butterfly by Benjamin Moore. I swear I didn't pick it because of the name:)
I am using many of the pieces we had in Dubai and adding in a few new touches. I got the rug from RugsUSA back in April at 70% off! Unfortunately, they don't sell the pink anymore (It looks great but has to be vaccumed alot because it sheds).
The custom roman shades are a perfect Chinoiserie addition to tie in all of our Asian elements.
Her room is far from finished...so I'll be sure to keep you updated on the rest as it comes together!
so beautiful! how did you have those roman shades made?! do tell! thanks for sharing.
