The man cave sneak peek

Right before Christmas, I helped one of my clients to pull together a cozy yet sophisticated Ralph Lauren inspired "man cave" for her boys (husband included).  I went to our local fabric district- Fabric Row and picked up some fabulous nubby wools- mostly plaids and checks.  Such bargains compared to the Ralph fabrics I had originally priced out for the project! I'm even going back tomorrow to get more for another project.

We threw some family heirloom photos and antlers up on the wall- from West Elm.

And of course some gems from Home Goods.  These are actual RL swing arm brass lamps- aren't they to die for?

We're still working on several spaces in this home including an English-cottagey guest loft, a living room face-lift and a kitchen remodel. I'm loving the direction we're going- more to come soon!

  5. Love those fabrics and Fabric row is great. And yes, Home Goods is my favorite!! I can probably say there are at least 4 or 5 that I visit on a regular basis. The accessories are very affordable and the pillow inventory is give or take - just depends on the time. This looks man space looks really cozy.

  10. Looks great! I was so underwhelmed the first time I went to fabric row. It's growing on my, a little. I went back for a great linen and saw some gorgeous velvets. Also really liked several menswear fabrics. Would love to know where you found your gorgeous fabrics.
