so i'm making the long flight home to the US in a few days and i'm in desperate need of some new music on my ipod. i used to be a music guru but somehow becoming a mom and living abroad has totally put me out of touch...please help!

Hi Caitlin...Music is a big part of my day..I have to have music playing wheither Im relaxing or working...it inspires me. As for recommending artists...oh too many to mention..BUT...I have my ipod set up on my blog...so your more than welcome to browse through the track and artist...always good to have a little listen to see if its up your alley. Its all very easy listening...a mix of old and new :) x

Any song by A Fine Frenzy, or Eva Cassidy (really each song on every album is amazing). I also love Patty Griffin, Frou Frou, and Lenka right now.

In the office, I stick to acoustic music. I've been playing and replaying this acoustic set by Phish for weeks. The piano parts are beautiful and upbeat while also relaxing. The lyrics make me smile, too. :)

I just flew back to the UK from the US and was wishing I had my iPod with me!! It was packed and checked. If I had it onboard I would have been listening to Sia, Jamie Lidell, Diane Birch, and the new Natalie Merchant album.
