BLOG CRAWL: "my life is an open book"

Today I am taking part in the BLOG CRAWL via Hello Splendor where I'll be telling a bit about my life... {my apologies that I'm a day late- technical difficulties with our internet connection!}

The Author: That's me earlier this year at a photo shoot in one of my favorite homes that I designed.

The Setting: Dubai~ we have lived in Dubai for a year and we've been loving the experience abroad. We've lived in Utah, California, London, and we'll actually be moving to Asia for 6 months in February 2011 for an international rotation for my husband's job.

The Characters: This is my little family~ my childhood sweetheart Brig & my little lovie girl Olivia who is 15 months!

The Plot: I'm a mom...that's my most important job and I absolutely love it. Morning cuddles, kisses, eating, cleaning, diapers, baths, storytime...currently severe JET LAG! Olivia is my best little buddy and I just can't get enough of her.

The Twist: I am a passionate Interior Designer by trade. I started my own business in 2007 after graduating from BYU and working for a few design firms. I love being my own boss and having the creative freedom to take design risks. Creating beautiful spaces for my family and clients gives me such joy. I feel so blessed to be able to be a mother and a designer, although sometimes it can get pretty crazy!
