fresh fall palette

with my recent orange phase, i've been dreaming of living in kate walsh's old home that was published in Oprah at home in 2007. although it was published in the spring, i'm especially into the color combinations for fall...

perfect thanksiving tablescape

the series of arches and color is so stunning, and how about those coral light fixtures?

perfect details...plush navy blue mohair, mirrored accents, luxurious silk patterns, curious accessories- LOVED it all then and LOVE it all still.

too bad she doesn't live there anymore...i wish i could move in.

  4. Do you accept reader questions? Because these lovely pictures bring to mind a problem I'm having and don't know how to solve...everywhere I see beautiful panels as curtains. But my large lovely windows in my front room face the street - and my husband feels very exposed. What do you do? I don't want heavy curtains closed all day, so do I put sheers as well? Do I cave to the terribleness of blinds? Or do I forego privacy during the day in the name of better decorating taste, and just close the curtains at night??

I would love your excellently styled advice!
