blue, beige & grey: makeover inspiration

last week, i got a call from a daughter of a client desperate for me to help her with her bedroom before i move. despite my large to-do-list (and my husband yelling NO in the background of my phone call), i couldn't help but say that i'd try to squeeze it in.  you know me...i love a challenge.

so...i met her on saturday, measured and discussed ideas and inspiration.
today the room was painted.
tomorrow i will do EVERYTHING ELSE.

did i mention i'm moving to hong kong in 10 days? yes, i'm a mad woman.

{some inspiration for the makeover...}

check back in tomorrow for the results!

  2. The color scheme is similar to what I'm putting together for my own bedroom. It's currently chocolate brown, but with the coming of spring, its nice to have a brighter look!

    I'm new to your blog!

  4. You seriously are a mad woman!!! Moving is already hard enough...love the hubbs saying "no" in the background, so funny! They do try and take care of us, even when we don't have time to let them! (c: Looks like it will be amazing, as usual! Great inspiration pics...

  6. wow you are busy! If you have any sources for the bedding in your third picture could you let me know (white duvet w/ double gray stripe)? I've been searching for weeks for the source of this bedding but can't find it.

  7. Love the first headboard as well! How lucky about Hong Kong. I lived there when I was 2.
