Dubai week!



In the last few months I have been lucky enough to meet several of my Dubai readers {including a few of you who were first in line to buy my furniture}.  Last week, a darling Pottery Barn employee shocked me when she came up to me and said "Caitlin, I follow your blog..." It has really been amazing to meet the readers who actually live in the same country as I do, thanks for your comments & support!

So I thought since it is my last week here, I will share with those of you who DON'T live here some of my favorite things about Dubai, some of the work I've done and not shared yet, and for those of you who DO live here- I will share my favorite local sources and secrets!     I've never been but I heard Dubai is a nice place to visit.

    I know you mentioned you got a lot of custom clothes made in Dubai...I would love to see some of those pieces, and what it was like getting custom pieces made. This is a great idea. I can't wait to see what you share.

    Hi Caitlin ! I'd love to know what your favorite sources for accessories are. I love the Venetian mirror that you got from the Global Village and would love to know how much it cost. Also, like somebody else commented, I'd love to know where you get your clothes custom-made. I am planning a trip to Dubai soon and would love some tips from you.

    I've been in dubai for 4days and I'm a little overwhelmed by it all! I too, would love to know where you get your clothes made and any secret places to buy textiles would be great. I love reading your blog, it's made my move over here a lot less daunting. I'm planing a trip to Global Village this week after seeing it on your blog a while back! All the best for HK.     What a beautiful image -- the white domes of the mosque are so illuminated and breathtaking.
    Any fun style snippets you've discovered Dubai-side would be most enlightening.
    Surely you'll miss things about it when you leave.
