Decorating with Persian Rugs: Part II

Here is Marci's bedroom and the persian rug that she inherited from Thursday's post! I chose simple white bedding with pops of funky pillows for the bed.  I love the muted coral and teals from the rug so I decided to match it somewhat. Then I added some a modern side table and funky lamp to give it an eclectic mismatched feel.  Finish it off with some archival prints from etsy and accesorize with collectors items.

Detail of the rug

This Schumacher linen is gorgeous and provides a color palette for the bed pillows.

Add a geometric for modernity.

A funky flame-stitch for a unique, bohemian feel.

And a subtle, almost solid for relief between pillows.

Can't wait to see how it turns out!
