I'm honored to be guest posting at Effortless Style for the IN HER SHOES series. I had to document my entire day a couple of weeks ago and write about it...hope you enjoy a peek into my crazy life.
I adore Camila and her lovely blog~ Thanks for the feature!
I love the teeth brushing comment! It's nice to know that so many of us instantly have something in common...chasing our children with a toothbrush!
ReplyDeleteI agree with NattybyDesign-it is definitely something some kids hate (like mine).
ReplyDeleteYou have such an incredibly full day. Love that you take Livy to the park, and your computer desktop cracked me up-specifically the husband comment. Mine does the same thing. I like being able to see where I have all my folders, but it is too messy for him, and some days he'll have cleaned up the desktop for me.
Thanks for giving us a peek into your life.
P.S. The comment about everyone staring at Livy on the MTR-My sister went to China on a trip, and everyone kept wanting to touch her boys hair, and take pictures with them. (Light hair, and one of them has blue eyes)
Enjoyed getting a peek into your very busy life and what it's like living in Hong Kong! No shopping bags at grocery stores-so interesting (and green)!
ReplyDeleteyou don't have an oven!?
ReplyDeleteyour salad looks pretty good though... maybe i should pretend that i don't have an oven.
Hi Caitlin! Loved reading about your day....I have an almost 3 year old little girl who HATES getting her teeth brushed. Finally she would let me do it if I sang Old McDonald and she picked the animal. NOW, that doesn't work so I had to get creative and so I "check out" her mouth to see what creatures are there and tell a story about who I am trying to get out of her mouth. Now she never knows what I am going to say and she is so excited to see what will come next. Works like a charm...just thought I would pass it on:)
ReplyDeletethanks for the tips- I feel so much better that it's not just olivia that hates her teeth being brushed!
ReplyDeletelove seeing that your life is just like mine! wouldn't change a thing though...cute post-thanks for sharing-love your blog

My day seem to look ok exactly this way!! Inayah gets up around 9 in the morning as well and she takes nap exactly at 1.. she will be 2 this august and I find it IMPOsSible to leave her home! is that having that clingy effect to olivia for you as well!! coz we too keep moving from project to project.. wont you just miss time with your husband.. i dearly miss the pillow talks.. and well my husband refuses to go to bed early so nearly always we go for a midnight dirve for coffee and some catching up with each other.. which means that i am working till 4 in the morning and still feeling glum for not having done enough.. feels so much better to read your day!! :) might go less hard on myself from now on!!
