blue & yellow...still love it?

                                               

i came across this photo that i took of lulu when we were siteseeing in macau...
and i thought- hmmmm...i love blue & yellow together.  it seems to be/have been a trendy color combo but i really do still love when it's done right, especially love a pop of pink or coral. 






what do you think? do you love blue and yellow- if so what shades?

    I had a blue and yellow kitchen in my early 20's and just finally painted over it as hated it, but in the photos you have it looks fresh and new again. I think if done with the right shade of blue/yellow it can be very pretty.

    I love it! And this was just the inspiration I needed to see today. I'm using blue and yellow in a room right now and have been debating red for an accent but I think it's officially going to be coral. What will my husband say!?

    Love the combo and I love that the girls pink bag in the subway photo adds that perfect pop you were referring to.

    I've never been a big lover of yellow because it looks terrible with my complexion! But I'm starting to warm up to it in decor. I particularly love that last bedroom photo, it feels so calm and fresh with that pop of yellow drape.

    I do love blue and yellow together! They've been my school colours at every school I've gone too so I might be a bit biased :)

    Blue and yellow (also combined with gray or pink) is one of my favorite colors. Yes it's trendy- but so is chevron, geometic designs and a whole other host of stuff that I still adore. I prefer the shades of soft aqua combined with yellow.

    All of these are great examples of blue and yellow...I think I love the bolder shades, but the soft ones are nice too.

    I did yellow with navy blue in my son's room last year and I love it.....I hope he still does too. :)

    I LOVE it, especially with gray, corals or pinks. It's my absolute favorite. Trendy or not, I love it and that's the color scheme in my home. Color like that makes me happy and gives my home a bright cheery feel.

    I am trying to do yellow silk drapes for my apartment....just need to find the right yellow color! This is a wonderful post...I love it!
