This week was a great week on Craigslist- I found a tufted vintage chair for $125 and a huge lilac fabric covered bulletin board for my office for $40 ( I really am working on this house of mine)! It is the perfect size (4x5.5 FEET)- which is so hard to find online without it being just a big brown cork board. I am using it for new textile pattern inspiration, reminders, client layouts...and a new blog series! Once a week I'll post a layout that I'm loving and share the sources with all of you!
Wallpaper- fromental / colourway: Confetti
Velvet geometric- Pindler & Pindler 9899 Drew / Nile
Fuchsia linen- Jefferson 8946 / Orchid
Metallic gold Vinyl- Local shop (fabric row)
Channeled fur- Local shop (fabric row)
It won't always be Friday- but it will be once a week. Let me know if you like the idea.
ps. can you believe how pretty the bulletin board fabric is? it has the look of lilac and pink tweed!

Great find on the board. Love the new series!
ReplyDeleteI love this idea! Your designs always seem to create more of a natural flow for a room where others I see look like they just took trendy aspects and colors and accessories and forced them to work together. You create a look that is livable and comfy, but really beautiful.

ReplyDeleteLike the corkboard!! There are so many good buys on Craigslist and you certainly have initiative! But you keep mentioning these chairs you buy from craigslist. I would love to see a posting about how to select a living room friendly chair/chaise. What makes it aesthetically appealing to you, and how can you find quality less then 1000 bucks.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely LOVE this idea...I can't wait to read the new series every week!! Your designs are always so gorg!
