Photo shoot flowers

 I lucked out with these gorgeous poppies & peonies from the Amish stand at the farmer's market on Saturday for my photo shoot.  It feels so good to finally have the house photographed- I can't wait to share them.  The feature is for a magazine in July so you'll have to wait to see most of it then but I'll share some detail shots later this week!  

The peonies were so fragrant and I'm obsessed with poppies now...love their wirey stems. 
Mari, my AMAZING assistant deserves a major shout-out.  She has been working so hard!
Now it's a mad-dash to pack up and head west TOMORROW at 6 am...aaaaahhhh!

    PS. The flowers are cheerful, impressed that the poppy lasted, they are hard to keep as cut flowers!
