Fleur Chinoise Room Refresh

Hi All! This is Jana from Jana Bek Design. I often have clients who want me to incorporate Caitlin’s prints & pillows into their designs, so when Caitlin asked if I was interested in contributing to her blog, I jumped at the chance!

A recent “Finishing a Space” client was inspired by a light, easy aesthetic, but needed to incorporate her existing leather couch into the her design. Almost immediately I knew the Navy Fleur Chinoise, Souk Trellis, & Zabeel Chevron Pillows were the airy assortment needed to lighten up the look. The ivory background of the Souk Trellis against the leather gave the couch a chance to breathe, and the coral was the perfect pop to make the couch slightly less serious; altogether creating a beautiful balance of substance and freshness. A few final details of a striped rug, Benjamin Moore’s Bennington Gray Paint, and a soft blue lamp resulted in a room refresh success!
