So glad it's the weekend

I'm so happy it's Friday. I spent most of the day at the fabric shop, like I have the last 3 Fridays. It's always exhausting because it takes about 45 minutes to get there on the metro and with the heat, the babe in tow, and the expected afternoon rainshower  it always ends up taking up the whole day. Once again, we're working out some more kinks with the fabrics...and let me tell you how complicated it can be with the language barrier. Today I actually had a translator!

Livi my assistant, who now is being taught to call the girls at the shop "Auntie"
After the shop, I trekked out to my textile designer, Shanna's house (another 30 minute metro ride- I miss having a car!) to do a quick consult. Then we got some pattern inspiration from the Hermes store in Tsim Sha Tsui on the way to dinner. I love this huge brass greek key screen...I need to get me one of those.

We met up with our husbands for a yummy celebration dinner at my favorite restaurant BLT Burger (for you Hong Kongers or New Yorkers) and treated ourselves to some delicious milkshakes in celebration of the fabric line. And I just have to give a shout out to Shanna for all her hard work... I couldn't have done it without you!

  1. I love your colorful bag. Where did you get it? I also want to know your skin and makeup regimen, you have the most beautiful skin.
