I am such a fan of Manual Canovas' bright, whimsical prints...
I've used them a couple of times...so gorgeous but the prices are pretty steep!
So when I came across this fun Calico Corners print that reminded me a bit of Pagoda (above- but my favorite colorway is Rose)... I had to share!
Venice in Multi $29.99!
I'm obsessed with MC- this print you found definitely has the same feel...thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a pretty print. I borrowed the swatch from Calico Corners and was debating what to do with it. It reminded me of the place my husband and I got engaged.
ReplyDeleteThat is good. I found a close 2nd to Pali (navy and white) recently....trying to figure out who makes it b/c it was at a big fabric store....but it is so good and around $20 a yard!
ReplyDeleteThanks for highlighting our Venice pattern-- it's really popular. I think it would make a great upholstered screen-- maybe flat roman shades? Outline quilted for a comforter? How about putting a chair rail in your powder room and upholstering the wall above with it? (it would look like a little jewel box) If you use a pattern like this on long gathered drapery, you'll only see a wash of color and not really the pattern (and maybe that is what you are after?) Obviously a couple of big fat pillows on a neutral sofa would be fun, but lately we are putting prints like this on French chairs-- the unexpected marriage of a whimsical print on a "serious" frame often makes a room less "granny" and more youthful--- Good luck, and I enjoy reading your posts--
