finally!

I have been meaning to start posting some of my recent work but I've been so busy that it's the last thing I remember to do, but I'm going to catch up! So here is one of my latest projects that is semi-complete. I've been working on this since October and once I finished these 2 rooms we decided to update the rest of the house so I'll have more to post soon. It's been a great project- I have loved working with all the different patterns & colors, it's a really cheerful space.

Thibaut wallpaper & custom Celerie Kemble pillows

Existing sofa & chairs / Custom ottoman

New buffet & Custom painting by Ali Bolen, yes she's a fabulous.

Re-finished the cabinets, new barstools

New glass 1" x 1" backsplash

I would still love to replace the granite with quartz.

Cute console.

Re-accessorized built-ins {one of my favorite parts}

New roman valences

another shot of the painting- I had her work from a piece that my client loved but sent her a swatch of fabric to incorporate the colors into the new painting. framed it in a $400 frame and voila, looks super expensive.

  2. Caitlin,

    I have to admit, I have been visiting this blog weekly because I can't get enough of this kitchen. I love how fresh, yet vibrant it is with the pop of aqua and persimmon. Where is the fabric from that the valances were made of?

    Also, I have an idea...What if we emailed you design questions and you posted answers on this blog? For instance, Dan and I are moving soon (most likely)and say we move into a place that has this great fireplace but I don't know what to do on the mantle. Perhaps you could enlighten us here on your design blog with possible solutions. Of course, we might have to pay you for your services (: Just an idea...
