Here's another one of my recent projects I finished a few months ago, but as usual slacked on posting it...
It's actually a guest room in my parent's home- my dad is a big African game hunter.
I wouldn't allow any heads on the walls...so we made due with african masks, artifacts, and paintings.
I loved finding all the tribal inspired fabrics.
It also doubles as a nursery...hope it's not too scary for the grandchildren.
the entry...of course I allow antlers.
One of the custom made pieces I designed, along with the bedside tables.
The bathroom was somewhat difficult given the green marble that was there from the previous color scheme.
I really loved leaving my usual colorful palette and working with tone on tone and in such a distinct style...it was a great project.
Not too scary for Goldie! love that room
ReplyDeleteOh, wow. This is a far cry from the Trophy room! Darling as usual. Can't wait to see you. Sometime soon, right!
ReplyDeleteThis room is so great, I love all the patterns. It reminds me of the time your husband let it slip that you were pregnant.
ReplyDeleteThis looks great Cait! Does this mean the Laura Ashley stuff is gone?
ReplyDeleteYes, we will be there for sure next week. We aren't for sure which day, but probably wednesday or thursday. Ill call you when we get in!
ReplyDeleteLove it- love you!
